Luis Mondragón is a full time researcher at the Video Coding Architectures group. He holds a BSc In Electrical and Electronic Engineering by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), as well as a MSc in Electrical Engineering by the Technische Universitet Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Furthermore, he has worked in the field of Hardware Emulation (Intel GDC, Mexico) and in Computer Vision (Thirona, Nijmegen). His current interests lie on the development of Computer Vision Pipelines for Healthcare systems.
In march of 2019 he joined the VCA group as part of the NEXIS project, which aims to generate the next generation of Cone-Beam CT scanners. As part of the team his goal is to perform Dual Energy spectral processing algorithms.
