Arash Pourtaherian received BSc degrees in electrical engineering from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, IN, USA and University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in 2010. In 2013, he received the MSc degree in electrical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He is currently working as a researcher towards the PhD degree in the Signal Processing Systems, Video Coding and Architectures (SPS-VCA) research group at TU/e. His research interests include 3D sensing and reconstruction, Ultrasound imaging and data analysis, and semantic content analysis. Arash has a solid low-level and high-level programming knowledge with languages such as MATLAB, VHDL, C/C++ and assembly.
